Over the past few years, both courses at Riverside have been extremely busy. When COVID hit last year our rounds of play increased by 10,000 combined between the North and South Courses. As some may know, tee times get booked very quickly once they are available to both members and the public. Almost every tee time throughout each day is booked from open to close all season long due to course conditions, players playing more, and new players to the game.
In order to continue to provide value to our members and a positive experience for all golfers, we have made the decision to limit the number of memberships that are available for purchase starting with the 2022 season. That number will be limited to 500 memberships combined between the North and South Courses. As of today 10/19/2021, we will stop selling memberships until we have contacted all members from the 2021 season in regard to rejoining for the 2022 season. Once this has been completed, we will know if any memberships will be available for the 2022 season. Beginning today, we will start a waitlist for anyone who is looking to join and as membership spots open, we will notify waitlisted people in order..
Current members will have until December 15, 2021 to inform the golf course if they will be rejoining. During the time period of October 2021, through January 28, 2021, only current members can register for a 2022 membership.
In addition, all memberships must either be paid in full or on an active payment plan by January 28, 2022. After January 28, 2022 anyone who has not paid their membership (or has not started an active payment plan) will lose their spot. Any member who has already signed up in September 2021 for the 2022 season will be active and no further action is required. We can not guarantee a membership for the 2022 season for anyone who is on the waitlist.
We understand this is new to everyone, including the golf course, so we ask for your patience as we navigate through this process. We do feel that limiting the number of memberships is needed to reduce the frustration of booking tee times for the members and to ensure a quality experience for all golfers.
